Upcoming changes to our Standard Terms of Use

Hello, We're writing to let you know about some important changes we're making to our Standard Terms of Use (STOU). These changes will take effect on November 16, 2023, and will automatically become part of our contract with you. We encourage you to review these changes at your earliest convenience. We are always looking for opportunities to improve the Mailchimp experience and features, and we have updated our STOU to incorporate new product offerings: Intuit Assist leverages the power of generative AI to help you with your marketing, while SMS allows you to send text messages to your customers. The updates to our STOU address these new offerings, including: Adding language to cover SMS features (Section 29).  As part of this, we clarify the billing and fee structure for SMS (Section 10). Adding language to cover generative AI features (Section 30). As part of this, we clarify your responsibilities should you choose to use artificial intelligence features. Clarifying responsibility with respect to content sent through the service and your relationship with your contacts (Section 23).
